Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend

If it’s possible, I think I have fallen in love with this Lemon Pepper seasoning blend!

It was one of the Spice Blends You Should Be Making At Home that we featured here on the blog not that long ago.  I made a big batch to have for photos and recipe testing for that blog post.  Since then, I have played with this seasoning mix by adding it to just about everything but dessert.  True Story!

We have used it on fish, chicken, on our veggies, but quite possibly our favorite way that we have utilized this seasoning blend so far is for our Lemon Pepper Chicken Alfredo.

This blend only requires 3 ingredients and I guarantee your kitchen already has the first two.  Salt and pepper lead off this blend.  The last ingredient is grated lemon peel.  You could stand for a 1/2 hour grating the peels off of a dozen lemons or you could just pick up a jar of dried lemon peel to make life a little easier for yourself.  (This is my preferred method!)

Stir those three ingredients together and store them in an airtight container and Voila!  You have just made your very own lemon pepper seasoning mix.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy!!!  Give this blend a try and let your imagination fly on all the ways this blend can be an awesome dinner helper.
